| Freelance TV cameraman, With over 24 years experience in the Broadcast TV industry, Adelaide TV cameraman Brenton Dean has seen and filmed a lot ! Having covered local, national and international news items for Adelaide's Channel 7 and Channel 10, Brenton has been working freelance since 1999. His career has seen him work for all the major networks of Australia as well as various overseas channels. Brenton's working career has seen him travel through The United States, Canada, Mauritius, South Africa, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Fiji, New Zealand, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia and also the sub antarctic island; Heard Island.
One of Brenton's passions is filming underwater. The wildlife documentary "The Vanishing Dragon," in which he shot and co produced with Carly Maple, won a "Gold Award" at the Australian Cinematographer Society Awards, "The Vanishing Dragon" also won a prize at the Japanese Wildlife Festival 2005. Currently, Brenton continues to freelance as a TV cameraman for various TV Networks, and also produces corporate and promotional films. |
